Among his major works are the large-size Shangu , Madanthara , Amma , Embrace , Embryo , Sunset , Lotus , Infinity and Nandi created in the Veli tourism village in Thiruvanathapuram in 1986.
His Sagarakanyaka (1992) and relaxation sculpture (1995) on the Shangumughom
beach in Thiruvanathapuram are major attraction .
Kanayi recalled his major
works such as those at Payyambalam in Kannur; Kumaranasan Smarakom at
Thonnakkal, Thiruvananthapuram; an environmental sculpture at Panjab
University, Patiala (1980); Nandi at Malampuzha (1969); a fountain sculpture
at Hotel Karthika, Kollam (1974); and an environmental sculpture at the
Chithrakala Parishad Art Complex, Bangalore

Aksharamata sculpture at the
132-year-old Kottayam Public Library. This 60-foot-high work would be the
tallest he had done.
