Vyttila Mobility Hub-Kakkanad ferry service :
It can carry 50 passengers and ten two-wheelers.

This service is expected to benefit hundreds of commuters and reduce traffic congestion in the Palarivattom, Kakkanad stretch . it passes through Kaniyampuzha bridge, Eroor bridge and Vettuveli Kadavu between Vyttila and Kakkanad.
Eroor boat service will be started immediately.
Poothotta to Tripunithura boat service will commence shortly.
By March 2014, ten more ultra model boats will be inducted into service.

Ferry services are also available from ernakulam boat jetty to willington island , mattancherry and fort cochin.

Backwater trips in ernakulam: you can take back water trips at the boat jetty at ernakulam.
