Elephants camp at Konni
Konni elephant camp is situated just 2 kms off konni town on the banks of the Achencoil river in pathanamthitta district of Kerala.
The Konni eco-tourism project was launched in 2007 as a joint venture of the Forest and the Tourism departments on the 3.5-hectare elephant camp
The camp houses six elephants and four of them are trained to take around tourists on their back. visitors can take an elephant ride along with trained mahouts.The Forest Department launched the safari as part of the eco-tourism venture in 2008.

with prior arrangement you can watch feeding of elephants, bathing of elephants and go for trekking in the nearby forests.
paper-making unit: produces file boards using elephant dung, and the product is on sale at the department store at the camp
