Anayoottu

As many as 60 elephants will be fed at the annual ‘Anayoottu' (ritualistic feast for elephants) being held at the Sree Vadakkunnatha Temple , trissur. The elephants will be given a mix of rice, bananas, jaggery, honey, corn, pineapple and sugarcane.

Also a Ashtadravya Maha Ganapati Homam, a hindu religious rite will be performed.
